Dr. Fab Mancini: Your mind is either your greatest healer or it can also be your greatest roadblock. You don't want your mindset to be a roadblock, you don't want it to be an obstacle, you don't want it to be a frustration. You want it to be your solution. And guess what, no one has that power, but you did. You know that your thoughts have the power to heal or destroy your body? What if I told you that the way you think about your health could actually be the difference between having a chronic illness or getting full recovery? Now I've been in this space of mindset for probably since I was 19 years old. I attended a course that was called Silva mind control, and it was created by a man that became very famous, Jose Silva. And they had offices all throughout the world. And it was a seven day course that was really teaching us how our thoughts directly create our reality. But the benefit of it is that he was teaching us, and this is when I was 19 years old. I was just starting college. He was teaching us how your thoughts can actually be reprogrammed. Now many of this science has not evolved until the last 10 to 15 years with the discovery, or the awareness of neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is a science that recognize that our brains are actually constantly changing. It's adapt. Our brains are adapting to our environment constantly, and it can be changed. And before it used to be that we used to think that our brain and our nervous system cannot change, and now we're seeing that that is actually not correct. So I want you to know that we need to understand that right now, our thoughts could be one of the biggest root causes of our diseases that our health problems, and I wanted to bring this topic to you because I know that there's a lot of science behind it, but I also know that you will recognize some of the examples and the sharing that I will give you to realize that maybe your thoughts are contributing to your own disease process. Maybe your thoughts are the reason why you can't get over the health, and maybe you can't get better, maybe your thought is was keeping you in a state where your body cannot heal the way that it was meant to you. So we know that we have a work of mindset, and this is, you know, very important word, because that has become a great awareness in the world where we're recognizing that our mind and our thoughts actually impact our bodies in a great way. I talked in the past about the idea that there's a lot of studies that show that when you have a positive thinking outcome, you have a much greater chance of creating a positive outcome in your disease process. So if all of the sudden I am diagnosed right now with a chronic disease, I can either choose to look at that diagnosis as something that is going to be a life sentence, something that's going to determine my destiny, something that's going to define me, or I can just say that happens to be the opinion of this provider. Maybe I'm going to go find a different type of provider and see if there was a different opinion out there, maybe I'm going to start looking at the science and the research and do my own research as to, are there anything else out there that has proven to be able to reverse or eliminate whatever the diagnosis was? This is the thought process. This is the mindset of a healthy individual. You know, a lot of times also, we are born in a household where the mindset of our parents, later on becomes our mindset. And if our parents were the type that they felt that as we get older, we're going to age and we're going to actually feel bad, and we're going to develop all these chronic diseases that existed in our in their parents and their grandparents. Right then, all of a sudden, you become that statistic. Or you can say, You know what I'm gonna learn from my parents and realize they didn't change any of the mindset or even the behaviors that their parents did. I'm not going to make the same mistakes. I want to break that pattern for my own children in the future, for their children in the future, this is the responsibility of the mindset of an individual. You're not only impacting your own well being you're actually impacting everybody around you. Right, and especially as parents, if we have children that are actually watching our responses right whenever we go see a doctor, and whether we think that every little condition you have to get it checked out by a doctor or go to a hospital, I'm telling you, you're going to be disappointed. You're going to go into this maze of a healthcare system that is broken. You're going to be chasing symptoms, and from one symptoms, they're going to lead you to a provider that is specialized in one thing, and then all of a sudden, you're going to develop another symptom that that gets you to another provider, and then that kind of gets you to another symptom to another provider. And pretty much, you're now dealing with 345, different providers that are trying to determine how healthy you can be, instead of listening to your inner wisdom, instead of listening in chiropractic, we call it innate intelligence, instead of listening to that thought process inside of you that is, In my opinion, common sense that can actually guide you. So let's talk a little bit about the science. Because to me, the science is really important. Now we know that there is a statement or there is a format out there in mindset called the placebo effect, and this has been used a lot in science, whenever they're doing research and they're trying to compare, you know, a person that took a particular medicine and what their outcomes were, and a person that was full into thinking that they were taking the same medicine, but actually there was nothing in it. It was water or sugar or whatever the case may be. That's the placebo effect. Now the placebo effect is the fact that now we recognize that studies show that up to 70% of the patients, 77 zero of the patients improve with the placebo effect simply because they believed that whatever they did, whatever they took, was going to help them. Now this is where your mindset becomes really important, because where are you emphasizing the value right? If I think a pharmaceutical right, whether it's a over the counter pharmaceutical like Tylenol or aspirin or whatever, or whether you think a pharmaceutical that is a lot stronger and is prescribed is going to be the only thing that's going to help me heal. You're going to get me there. You're going to actually create that that's a placebo. That's your belief. That's what we have been talking to you about. You have to pay attention to this. But what about if, all of the sudden, you put that same belief system into something more holistic, more natural, right? Such as the foods that you eat, the supplements that you take, the behaviors that you do. You can do a visualization or something like that that helps you. You can do many different things now, Harvard Medical School has studied this, and they say that the brain releases releases healing chemicals when we believe in the treatment, even if it is a sugar pill. So your belief systems and remember your thoughts become and change the chemistry in your body. You can have a positive thought and create a positive chemistry in the body. You can have a negative thought and create a negative chemical in the body. The reason why chronic stress is one of the biggest challenges of foundational for chronic disease is because the body was meant to be stressed right in the early days. You've heard this example before. You know we were being chased by animals, and the stress increased our cardiovascular system so our heart could pump faster, so we have the blood supply to run faster and get away from that animal. But right now, we don't have those animals like dinosaurs and many of those animals of the past. What we do have is the stressors of every day. I have bills that I cannot pay. That's an animal chasing you. I'm in a relationship which is actually abusive. That's an animal chasing you.

Speaker:from my own patients, for the:Speaker:

This is your life. This is your health. The other one is waiting for the doctor to fix it. This is a very passive mindset, meaning you're not taking any responsibility, what could cause a chronic disease. Then you go to a doctor. The doctor gives you prescriptions to manage your symptoms, but nothing to get rid of the glucose of the problem. You just wait and wait. Nothing changes. How many times have we've seen that? And then lately, I'm seeing doctors then telling patients you're going to have to be on that medication for the rest of your life. More and more, are we seeing that right? That's why we have people that are over 60 that are taking over four prescriptions a day. Over four prescriptions a day. I don't want you that to be you. You need to release that. You need to say, You know what, if I develop so osteoporosis, what is it that I can do to start making sure that I'm getting enough minerals in my bones? Study the function of how do we get your bones stronger naturally? There's incredible technologies. There's incredible supplements that you can do without putting this low. Long Term pharmaceuticals in your body that potentially can give you some side effects. So I want to make sure that you manage this expectation of a doctor wanting to fix it in my Mayo University said, or the Mayo Clinic said, the mindset driven lifestyle changes lead to longer lifespans and reduced medication use. When you take control that your mindset is going to be positive, that is going to actually be proactive, that is going to go to the root cause of the problem. You can live longer. This is where longevity really lives. But also you could potentially reduce your medication use and maybe even get rid of it. All right? I noticed because I do have a lot of friends of mine that are medical doctors. Medical doctors are trained to give you medication, but it's not that they want you necessarily to have medications all the time, but they're trained that if you have certain symptoms, this is what alleviates as symptoms. This is a whole different paradigm that we're living in with ending chronic disease. If you continue that paradigm, you're going to see the statistics, especially you be one of them that are not going to change. But if you decide all of a sudden, I am not going to be that statistic. I'm going to change my mindset. I'm going to change my paradigm. I'm going to look at the root cause of every problem that I have. If I'm feeling a headache today, what could have caused that headache? Was I exposed to some chemicals or toxicity that could have given me that headache? Was I dealing with some stress that was unexpected? Did I eat something that perhaps could have toxified my system to give me a headache, as an alarm system of the body saying, hey, what you ate is not healthy, and now your stomach and your digestive system is really struggling. So take a look at that. If you believe you can heal, you're halfway there. I mean, imagine 50% of your healing is just believing that you can the other 50% is doing the right behaviors to allow you to get through whatever condition you're dealing with. So leverage that mindset, you know. And then let me give you some some tips of how I've seen that you can accelerate and improve your mindset very quickly. The first one is one of my favorites that I learned very early in my life, and that is the power of visualization. We have many studies that we have seen how athletes use imagery to improve performance, where you can do the same in your healing. You can actually visualize yourself every single day being 10% better than the day before, 20% better, 30% better, 40% better every single day. Go into that state of visualization. Close your eyes. Breathe in deep through your nose. Count to five. Hold it for five seconds to six seconds, and then release it through your mouth, and count to five as you release. This is one of the best ways that you can breathe, right? We need that oxygen. We need all of that to come through the body, so your visualization can actually be better. Now, the other thing that we have found in visualization recently that is not just about visualizing yourself better, it's about staying in that moment for five to 15 minutes. As to how would it feel if you were 10% better, 20% better, 30% better. How would you feel? Not how you feel when you're feeling the pain and the symptoms, but how would you feel if all of the sudden that was reduced? Would you be happier? Would you be more relaxed? Would you enjoy your relationships a little bit more? Would you be able to be more productive and stay in that visualize yourself already in that space, like if it's already happened. That is what the latest science is telling us, that visualization can take it to a whole new level, not only visualizing what you want, but staying in that moment of feeling by creating those emotions that tell your brain that it's already happened. Well, Harvard study did a study that said that the people who visualize their body healing recover 30% faster, 30% faster just by using visualization. The other one I mentioned to you in the past is gratitude. You know, practicing gratitude lowers blood pressure. Strengthens the heart. It reduces anxiety, because you're focusing on something positive. And that may be it may not be everything you want, but you're focusing on something that you have, not something that you wish you had. Yale did a study that says that patient who practiced gratitude journals had. 23% improvement in the immune function just by simply practicing gratitude. So I want you to be grateful for your condition. I know that may sound silly for me to say that to you, let's say you have a condition like high cholesterol. I want you to be grateful for the high cholesterol. I want you to look at the cholesterol and say, Okay, what are you here to teach me? And maybe you're gonna find what are the true root causes of high cholesterol? Could it be root cause one? Could it be my diet? Could it be the things that I'm eating right? Could it be that genetically, I'm predisposed to have a high cholesterol number than other people do. I'm one of those. My cholesterol has been high for the last 35 years, even though my cardiovascular system is I'm gonna turn 60 this year, and it's younger than I was in at 20 completely clean arteries, veins, everything is incredibly well, but genetically, I have that issue, and I don't know why, but it's shown up in my genetic testing. The last one is reframing your illness. You know, don't look at your illness as a negative. I said, I said, punishment, right? Right. Sometimes I tell people, you know, you got to stop looking at your illness as your enemy. You got to look at your illness as a friend, as somebody that's there trying to guide you as to what you can change in your mind and what you can change in your actions and your behaviors. Those are the two things that will help you. Now, if you see an illness as something that's going to just come by and visit right? It's just here to teach me a lesson, and it's meant to go away, then you have an opportunity to not expect that illness to stay with you for the rest of your life. Case Studies have shown that people who see illness as a chance to change your lifestyle, often recover against all odds that's already been proven through science. The problem is the average person like you and me don't hear that right? We're constantly hearing from our doctors and providers and people that we listen to on TV and news experts, and they're telling us it's all a matter of taking more medication, managing the symptoms and learning to live with it. I refuse, refuse to subscribe to that philosophy, to that mindset. I spent 38 years proving that the body is the biggest miracle that we have, and this body can create incredible miracles, because your body is meant to be healthy. It's not meant to be sick. And if you look at the chronic illnesses as wearing a backpack, right? And every behavior or mindset that you do is like a rock that you put in that backpack. And if you start thinking negative, that's a rock. If you start doing a bad behavior or an eating that's a rock. If you don't exercise at all, that's a rock. If all of a sudden you Don't try any other biohacking technologies, that's another rock. And pretty soon you realize that you're going through life with this backpack full of rocks that are keeping your lifestyle, your potential, to less than 10 or 20%

Speaker:

But what if, all the sudden, we open the backpack and we start removing the rocks and start changing those behaviors for the ones that take it away from our backpack? That's really the key in how to make this happen. Now your mind is either your greatest healer or it can also be your greatest rock block. I hope that you learn that you don't want your mindset to be a roadblock, you don't want it to be an obstacle, you don't want it to be a frustration. You want it to be your solution. And guess what, no one has that power with you. You have the power of choice. You get to choose everything you think about you get to choose everything you do, and just because somebody has a degree from this school at that school, that somebody has to two degrees and three degrees, and somebody wrote a book, it's just an opinion. That's all it is. And if you don't subscribe or like that opinion, guess what? I bet you you can find somebody else with a different opinion. That's the secret of leveraging your mindset for the positive. Also make sure that you're learning more, right? Listen to podcasts like this, talk to people and ask them questions. Hey, how did you get rid of your chronic disease? What are some of the things that you're doing that are really helping you right? The other day, I was with a patient that couldn't believe that neuropathy right is the biggest side effect of diabetes and cancer treatments, and there's a lot of millions of Americans suffering from neuropathy, and very few people know that there is no. Pharmaceutical for neuropathy, but they are in the holistic world, many things like the compression, chiropractic adjustment, red light therapy, laser, all of these scenes, nutrition, right? Incredible nutrition that feed the body to increase the circulation, or perhaps technologies like Ava said that you put your hand in his micro circulation, and what it does is, scientifically, has been proven to open up the little capillaries that have been blocked. Therefore you're not getting sensation, not only in your feet, but in your hands. And now it opens it up, and the neuropathy is no longer there. I want you to learn more. I want you to be a constant student. I want you to learn that you have the answers to be able to move forward. And lastly, I want you to do something about it. I gave you a lot of information today, but I want you to choose one thing that you're going to do different, to change your mindset. And I want you to start applying it right now, whether you visualize a little bit more, whether you turn your negative thinking into positive thinking, whether you start surrounding yourself more with positive people instead of the negative people that are always sick, whether you start reading positive books instead of negative books that tell you you're gonna have to learn to live with this all your life, whether you start going to providers that Give you a different opinion that the ones that are keeping you in that pharmaceutical maze all your life. This is what I'm asking you to do. Make a decision, make a choice, and make it where now you realize the power of true health is in you and no one else. God bless you. I'll see you soon.
